Safety closure for pressure vessel

The pressure vessel seal is held in place on the pressure vessel by a clamp comprising two shaped sections (6, 7) hinged at one joint and with a clamping catch (9, 10, 11) at the other end. The clamping catch is operated by a threaded fastener (11) which operates the safety inset valve in the other part of the clamping catch. The threaded fastener only opens the inlet valve when the clamp is correctly fitted to the pressure vessel. The valve body has a threaded hole to take the end of the threaded fastener. It has inlet and outlet ports for the pressure fluid as well as attachments for a pressure gauge and a pressure relief plug.
