The evaporation burner for liquid fuel has a fuel input (5) in the bottom of a vertical open combustion space, and a turbulence inducer (10). There are annular discs (19,20) against the wall (1) of the combustion space, above and below the turbulence inducer. It has three rings of air input apertures, one of which (18) is between the two discs, mainly at the height of the turbulence inducer. There may also be a third annular disc (21) in the upper space, more or less parallel with the turbulence inducer, spaced out from the first disc, and of an internal dia. greater than that at least of the first washer. There are two more rings (16,17) of apertures, above and below the third disc.
