PURPOSE:To obtain a composition for oral cavity application having improved taste such as acidulant taste and astringent taste and giving improved feeling to the palate, by adding a specific perfume component to an oral cavity composition containing an organic acid and/or its salt. CONSTITUTION:A composition for oral cavity application containing an organic acid (e.g. phytic acid, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, citric acid, tartaric acid, malonic acid, L-ascorbic acid, etc.) and/or its salt and optionally other drug component (e.g. stannous compound such as stannous fluoride) is compounded with one or more kinds of perfume components selected from 1-500ppm of oleoresin (e.g. cayenne-pepper, pepper, sage, etc.), 0.1-100ppm of concrete (e.g. iris concrete), 2-500ppm of sesquiterpene (e.g. caliofilen, sedolor, etc.), 40-4,000ppm of cineole, natural essential oil (e.g. eucalyptus oil, laurel oil, etc.) containing 20-3,000ppm of cineole, 0.1-300ppm of vaniline and 1-200ppm of spilanthol. |
