The device described has a closed container (1) of any shape with a floor (2), side walls (3) joined to the floor, and a roof (4) fitted with a closure (7) over an opening and an applicator brush (37) which is fixed to the closure (7) and can be inserted into the container (1). In addition to the applicator brush (37), the closure (7) has a narrow, pointed applicator element (8) which projects out from the container when the closure (7) is fitted in place over the opening. The device can therefore be used not only to apply fluid precisely at a required point but also to apply the fluid over a large area.
