PURPOSE:To suppress sufficiently primary moment of inertia which is a main cause of vibration to reduce the vibration level by setting the pitch between respective cylinders to a predetermined interval and an angle made by crank pins for the cylinders to a predetermined angle. CONSTITUTION:First-sixth cylinders 3a, 4a, 3b, 4b, 3c and 4c are disposed to a crankshaft 17 in the order mentioned from the left side, with the odd number and even, number cylinders being respectively disposed at the same side. Angle beta made by both cylinders exceeds 90 deg. and the cylinders are disposed in the V-type having an angle less than 180 deg.. The angle alpha made by first and second crank pins 22a, 23a is set to (2beta-180 deg.) measured in the same direction as said angle beta. The third and fifth crank pins 22b, 22c are set to the phases shifted 120 deg., 240 deg. from the phase of the first crank pin 22a, and the fourth and sixth crank pins 23b, 23c to the phase shifted 120 deg., 240 deg. from the phase of the second crank pin 23 respectively. |
