PURPOSE:To provide a method for treating a bulk roll with heat wherein extra film is not necessary, complicated control device is not used, tight winding and creased winding and dented winding are not generated, and annealing treatment of the bulk roll can be done as it is in large quantity. CONSTITUTION:In a method of heat treatment of a bulk roll 1 for annealing in manufacturing a polymer film, a hollow core 2 is used as a core at taking up the bulk roll and heat insulating materials 3 and 4 are provided on the outer periphery and the side faces of the bulk roll 1. The bulk roll is taken up by heating from the inside of the core 2 or by providing clearances 5 at both edges of a take-up film before the bulk roll is taken up. The bulk roll is provided with the heat insulating material 3 on its outer periphery and heated by hot blast from its side faces 6. |
