PURPOSE:To freely wind and unwind a main cable, a branch cable, etc., without damaging by constituting a take-up guide device for cable, with plural branch cables being connected to one end of a main cable, with a lateral width variable pulley device, a hold roller, etc. CONSTITUTION:A take-up guide device comprises a lateral move mechanism drive device 38 having a move table 70, a channel width variable pulley device 44 having a hydraulic cylinder, mounted on the move table 70, a hold roller device 46, cable diameter/cable number detectors 34, 36 for detecting the diameter of cables and the number of cables. The channel variable pulley device 44 has a fixed conical member and a movable conical member movable in direction getting closer to and away from the fixed conical member. The movable conical member is disposed by means of a hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder is controlled with a controller on the basis of outputs of the cable diameter/cable number detectors 34, 36. At the same time, the move table 70 is controlled to move according to dimension of cables and take-up speed. |
