PURPOSE:To prevent the battery exhaustion of a vehicle by shutting off the supply of a power source to a unit during given data are memorized in a memory by a burglar preventive unit. CONSTITUTION:When an ignition switch 3 is turned off to set a burglar preventive unit 5, a seat is raised to turn on a switch 46. When the switch 46 is turned on, a power source is supplied to the burglar preventive unit 5 from a battery 2 to operate the unit 5. Under this condition, data, etc., showing a given secret certificate number and the set condition of the burglar preventive unit 5, are inputted from a key 4 board 34. The data are written in a EEPROM 32 by this input operation, and when the burglar preventive unit 5 is set to complete this procedure, the seat is lowered to turn off the switch 46 to shut off the supply of the power source to the burglar preventive unit 5. Consequently, the power source is not supplied to the burglar preventive unit 5 during the parking of a vehicle but data are memorized and kept in the EEPROM 32, improving the life of a battery. |
