METHOD FOR REMOVING MISCELLANEOUS FISH FROM DRIED YOUNG SARDINE AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To obtain an apparatus for efficiently removing miscellaneous fish mixed in young sardines used as a raw material in the preparation of dried young sardines. CONSTITUTION:Young sardines containing miscellaneous fish are boiled and dried to an extent to dry the surface of the sardines. The dried fish mixture is passed through a mesh member made of thin wires. Miscellaneous fish which forms a loop by boiling is hooked with the mesh and removed by this process. Concretely, a means for discharging the dried young sardines is connected through a transfer path of dried young sardines to a means for charging boiled young sardines classified by wind selection and inserting a mesh-formed separation means in the transfer path.
