PURPOSE:To provide sterilizing equipment with high sterilizing performance, by catching saprophytic bacteria in air to be cleaned, supplying ozone to the caught saprophytic bacteria, and irradiating ultraviolet to the saprophytic bacteria under the supplied ozone atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:An air intake opening 2 and an air exhaust opening 3 are installed on a hollow main body 1. An ultraviolet lamp 11 as an ultraviolet irradiation means, an electric catcher 12, ozone decomposing catalyzer 13 as an ozone decomposing means and a fan 14 are installed in an air pass PH orderly from the upstream. When the fan 14 is rotated to introduce air into the main body 1, air in a room is passed through a louver 15, the electric catcher 12 and the ozone decomposing catalyzer 13 from the side of the ultraviolet lamp 11 and blown back into the room through the air exchaust opening 3. When air is passed through an ionizing part 120 of the electric catcher 12, bacteria contained in air flown through the air pass PH are caught by a catching side electrode plate 121b of the electric catcher 12. Thus, ozone is generated by ionizing lines 120a and supplied to saprophytic bacteria. |
