In particular, the present invention relates to 1) a method of selecting for a transgenic plant cell comprising transforming one or more plant cells with a tfdA gene; 2) a plant cell comprising a tfdA gene wherein said plant cell is free of other foreign marker genes; and 3) a sweetgum plant cell comprising a tfdA gene. |
