This invention provides a lung graft preservative composition comprising a phosphoric acid diester compound of the formula: <CHEM> (wherein R1 and R2 are the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a method for the preservation of the lung graft using the compound.
