PURPOSE:To provide a motor control device of sewing machine which can automatically reduce the rotation of an induction motor to suppress the noise at minimum when a sewing machine is not used for a prescribed time or more, and is also reduced in cost. CONSTITUTION:This device has an induction motor 21 for driving a sewing machine, a motor control part 22 for controlling the rotating speed of the induction motor 21, and a control means 29 for instructing the motor control part 22 to reduce the rotating speed of the induction motor 21 when the sewing machine is not used. |
