PURPOSE:To obtain a fishing reel capable of preventing adhesion of feed, dirt, etc., as much as possible, causing no entanglement of a fishing line, without injuring an angular even in bringing a finger into contact with the fishing reel by mistake during a handle winding operation. CONSTITUTION:A handle 5 is screwed and fixed by a screw member 35 to an end part of a driving shaft 4 for winding and driving a spool 14 and a locking member 9 for locking the screw member 35 is fixed to the handle 5.
