PURPOSE:To improve operation of a microscope by allowing it a larger freedom to select actions of its lock devices because a lock device is installed on each machine element connecting part of the supporting device, which supports the microscope, and is instructed by an instruction device at its option to be fastened or released. CONSTITUTION:The lock of the machine element connecting part of a prop 4 and upper/lower rough movement mechanism 4a is fastened or released by an electromagnetic lock 21 installed on the prop 4 through the upper/lower rough movement mechanism 4a, and electromagnetic locks 22 and 23 are installed at the both edges of the second arm 6, which is the machine element connecting part of a parallel link mechanism, to fasten or release the lock of the arm 6. In addition, an electromagnetic lock 24 is installed on the machine element connecting part of a vertical arm 8 and the third arm 9, and an electromagnetic lock 25 is installed on the machine element connecting part of a vertical arm 10 and a supporting box 12 of the microscope itself to fasten or release the locks. The operation handle 31 has a two-step switch which constitutes an instruction device at the projecting edge, and instructs the electromagnetic locks selectively to fasten or release locks. |
