PURPOSE: To enable to install a grip on the shaft of a golf club, by providing a grip lubrication equipment which coats the inside of the grip with a lubricant and a shaft lubrication equipment of the golf club which coats the outside surface of an one end of the shaft of a golf club with a lubricant. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus to install a grip to the shaft of a golf club is provided with a grip lubrication equipment 70 which coats the inside surface of the grip 76 with a controlled amount of lubricant and a shaft lubrication equipment 58 of the golf club, which coats the outside surface of one end of the shaft of a golf club with a controlled amount of lubricant. And, when the shaft bound by a double coated adhesive tape at the end and wound with lubricant is clamped into the clamping equipment 16, the grip 76 contained in the cabinet 74 is coated with lubricant on the inside surface, attached to the shaft by sliding up to the end wound with the tape, and fit to the proper location. The lubricant evaporates soon and the grip 76 is installed to the shaft with the adhesive tape. |
