PURPOSE:To easily produce a sample outdoors for observing a plant leaf without damaging it by applying a special adhesive to the leaf surface of a plant, hardening it, and then peeling the adhesive from the lead surface for formation. CONSTITUTION:For example, one drop of cyanoacrylate adhesive 3 is dropped on a glass plate 1, it is pressed against the surface of a leaf 5 of blue Japanese oak growing along a road with busy traffic, and they are adhered for approximately 30 seconds to 2 minutes for hardening. Then, they are removed and the surface is observed by a scanning-type electronic microscope and an adhesion substance, especially metal constituent, is subjected to qualitative analysis by an energy dispersion type X-ray micro analyzer. The cyanoacrylate adhesive should not contain any additive and solvent affecting plants and should be hardened quickly. Normally, the adhesive should contain cyanoacrylate by 100% and the form should be in liquid or jelly state. |
