<p>The present invention relates to a method for treating mixtures comprising at least one light metal and at least one nonmetallic phase, formed by at least one oxide of a light metal, in particular slags and dross for a subsequent process for separating off the metallic phase, and also relates to an apparatus for carrying out the method and preparing the mixture for disintegration. According to the invention, the mixture, slag or dross and, if required, additives are introduced into a treatment vessel to form a charge, superheated to a temperature no higher than 380 DEG C and the phases dispersed and/or kept dispersed by movement, after which the homogenised charge is discharged with the parameters set for the subsequent process. <IMAGE></p> |
