PURPOSE:To prevent the trouble of a high frequency oscillation part and a voltage conversion part and the consumption of a storage battery by arranging a protection fuse, a DC current detection element, a thyristor, an overcurrent detection resistor and a power semiconductor element to the protection circuit of the voltage conversion part. CONSTITUTION:The protection circuit of a voltage conversion part 3 is arranged to a high frequency welding device. This protection circuit is selected from at least one or more of a protection circuit wherein a protection fuse is arranged between the conversion part 3 and a storage battery part 6, a protection circuit wherein the protection fuse is arranged to the outside of the conversion part 3, a protection circuit wherein a DC current detection element is arranged between the conversion part 3 and the storage battery part 6, a protection circuit wherein a thyristor is arranged between the storage battery part 6 and the DC current detection element, a protection circuit wherein an overcurrent detection resistor is arranged between the conversion part 3 and the storage battery part 6 and a circuit having at least one of a transistor, a field-effect transistor and a gate turn-OFF thyristor arranged thereto as a power semiconductor element and turned ON/OFF thereby. |
