PURPOSE:To obtain a frozen spaghetti, filled in a container, suitable for cooking by heating with a microwave oven and having a structure capable of preventing the spaghetti from drying during freezing preservation and preventing the local overheating from occurring due to the microwave oven. CONSTITUTION:This frozen spaghetti filled in a container suitable for heating with a microwave oven is contained in a packaging container in a state of the formed, frozen and boiled spaghetti lump having at least the whole top surface thereof covered with a frozen sauce layer and the side of the spaghetti lump out of contact with the edge of the container. The frozen sauce layer is composed of a layer having a larger diameter than that of the spaghetti lump and may fill gaps between the side of the spaghetti lump and the container edge. The spaghetti lump and the frozen sauce layer form integrated two layers in close contact. The packaging container is preferably a dish type made of paper. This method for producing the frozen spaghetti is to place boiled spaghetti strips in a container for freezing and forming, freeze the spaghetti strips, take out the formed frozen spaghetti lump, transfer the spaghetti lump to the packaging container so as not to be brought into contact with the edge, form the sauce layer on the whole top surface and then freeze the spaghetti lump. |
