PURPOSE:To let inputting operations be performed in a stable condition where a wrist and an elbow are anchored. CONSTITUTION:In the information device for a vehicle which is, at least, equipped with a display means 4 indicating images, and a navigation means, an input operation section 3 for operating the various kinds of inputting operations for the information device for a vehicle, is disposed in a range so that inputting operations can be performed by fingers in a state that an elbow or a wrist is put on armrest section 2 provided in the cabin of the vehicle (for example, a cabin inner side armrest of a door, or an armrest provided in a console between a driver's seat and an assistant driver's seat). In this case, the input operating section 2 may be so constituted as to be equipped with a hand write inputting tablet. Besides, the input operation section 2 may be also so constituted as to be equipped with both a cursor moving function moving a cursor position indicated over the display screen of the display means 4 and a selection designation function selecting a desired cursor position. |
