FLUE GAS DESULFURIZATION METHOD FOR HEAVY OIL BOILER

PURPOSE:To desulfurize exhaust gas from a heavy oil boiler with magnesium hydroxide. CONSTITUTION:Magnesium hydroxide is recovered from ash-dust from a dust collector installed in a flue for exhaust gas from a heavy oil boiler. The recovered magnesium hydroxide is used as a part or the whole of magnesium hydroxide necessary for the desulfurization of the exhaust gas. In this way, the waste ash-dust can be utilized effectively, and the desulfurization can be conducted using recycled raw material within the same perocess.
