<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the light transmittance and light diffusion efficiency and to attain a high-luminance backlight by applying a resin layer contg. plastic beads on the transparent resin surface laminated with a transparent resin layer by rod coating. CONSTITUTION:A transparent resin layer and then a resin layer contg. plastic beads are applied on a plastic film, and a light diffusing layer consisting of a resin contg. plastic beads is formed by rod coating. A film consisting of a homopolymer such as polyethylene terephthalate, polyether sulfone, polyester, poly(meth)acrylate and polycarbonate or the copolymer of the monomer copolymerizable with the monomers of the resin are exemplified as the plastic film. Further, since the rod coating is of a post measuring system, the plastic beads contained in a coating soln. are densely applied on the surface of a substrate.</p> |
