PURPOSE:To eliminate protruding at a periphery of a connected part of a header tank, to reduce a deviation of both connecting surfaces and to improve brazing properties of the connecting surface by forming oblique surfaces to a thickness direction of a plate except parts of edges at both ends of a header tank material. CONSTITUTION:A clad material 11 is formed with oblique surfaces 12 oblique to a thickness direction of a plate except parts of edges 13 before it is rounded as a header tank. Surfaces of the tank to become outer surfaces are covered with a brazing material 14. When the material 11 is rounded and connected at both ends, both the surfaces 12 are brought into contact with one another. In this case, since the edges 13 are partly retained, recesses 15 are respectively formed at both outer and inner surfaces of the tank of the edges 13 and the surfaces 12. The material 14 is sucked to the V-shaped recesses 15 at the time of brazing due to presence of the recesses 15 to obtain brazing properties of both the connecting surfaces and excellent brazing can be executed. |
