The frame, e.g. for a glass-fronted display case, notice-board or clock face, consists of extrusions (100,200) joined together by fixings (500,501) at the corners of the frame, one extrusion having a projecting member (104) which overlaps the end of the other to mask the joint, while a cover (300) with an end wall (310) goes over the projecting member to enclose and finish it. The fixings are made in the form of screws inserted through holes in one of the extrusions and engaging with a slot (209) formed between two ribs on the other. Other fixings (612-614) are used to attach the frame to a support, such as a wall, and can be in the form of a hinge to allow the frame to be opened.
