PURPOSE:To provide an airtightness holding device of a casing for an air conditioner, wherein airtightness can be held by the action of a skirt flap even if distortion caused by fixing of a tapping screw of an outer plate is generated, by forming the skirt flap on a packing to be interposed between a frame and the outer plate. CONSTITUTION:In an airtight holding device of a casing for an air conditioner, wherein airtightness in a casing is held by interposing a packing 5 between a frame and a bent flap of an outer plate to be brought in surface-contact with the frame over the longitudinal direction when the frame 2 for constituting the casing and the outer pl-ate 3 are integrated with each other by a tapping screw 4, the packing is formed into a sectional form to wrap the bent flap of the outer plate, and a skirt flap is formed on the part to be brought in surface-contact with the frame. |
