<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an oil-based ink composition for a ball point pen which gives good write feeling and letters of high concentration, suppress ink leakage and letter blurring as much as possible and shows stability with the lapse of time. CONSTITUTION:An ink composition for a ball point pen contains organic solvents, coloring matters, resins and fatty acid amide wax and has a viscosity ratio (n1/n2) satisfying the expression: 2 <=(n1/n2)<=7 where n1 is the viscosity measured with a rotational viscometer at the shear rate of 2 to 12cm/min at 25 deg.C and n2 is the viscosity measured at the shear rate of 20 to 120cm/min.</p> |
