<p>PURPOSE: To vary the volume of a freezing compartment and a cooling compartment by vertically shifting the position of a partition wall having a food storage space sectioned into a plurality of chambers in an inner wall of the body to allow efficient utilization of the food storage space in a refrigerator. CONSTITUTION: A partition wall 30 vertically movable is arranged to vary the volume of a freezing compartment 11 and a cooling compartment 12, a shutdown means 90 to shut down a variable interval between the partition wall 30 and an isolating wall 25, and a sealing means 60 to seal a gap between the partition wall 30 and an inner wall 13 of a door 40. A pair of first and second protrusions 31 and 32 formed respectively on the front of the partition wall 30 separately protruding to both sides and on the rear thereof protruding backward. Moreover, a number of insertion holes 50, 51 and 52 for the first protrusion 31 are formed at front portions of right and left sides 13a of the inner wall 13 and other insertion holes 55, 56 and 57 for the second protrusion 32 on both sides of the rear 13b thereof.</p> |
