PURPOSE:To reduce any variations in the cut length of a film based on a size of thickness of a document by setting a deposition cutting position at the upper side as far as half of the average value of thickness of the document from a conveying surface. CONSTITUTION:A contact and separation means of a heat cutter makes both ends of a holder 191 fixed with a cutting blade 19a and another holder 192 fixed with a base 19b come nearer to each other, attaching each of cam followers 193 and 194 to each of the ends, and both these cam followers 193 and 194 are energized by an energizing member so as to be always contacted with each peripheral surface of a cutting blade cam 196 and a base cam 197 attached tight onto a common shaft 195. Both these cutting and base cams 196 and 197, while their rotation, press an edge of the cutting blade 19a and a top face of the base 19b and perform the deposition cut of a film at the more upper part as long as the specified distance than a plane, namely, a conveying surface connecting each nip of conveyor rollers 18a and 18b and that of discharge rollers 21a and 21b. In this connection, the specified distance between cut lines from this conveying surface is almost equal to one half of the average value of thickness in the document. |
