DRAWING SQUEEZE CAN AND RESIN COATED METAL PANEL THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To obtain a metal panel excellent in drawing squeeze moldability, the adhesion with a metal panel and impact resistance by providing a resin compsn. film consisting of a specific saturated polyester resin and an ionomer resin on the single surface or both surfaces of a metal panel. CONSTITUTION:A resin coated metal panel for a drawing squeeze can consists of a metal panel and the resin compsn. film provided on the single surface or both surfaces of the metal panel. The resin compsn. film consists of 75-99 pts.wt. of a saturated polyester resin (A) being a compd. derived from dicarboxylic acid consisting of 50-95mol% of terephthalic acid and 50-5mol% of isophthalic acid and a dihydroxy compd. based on ethylene glycol and 1-25 pts.wt. of an ionomer resin (B). As a result, the resin coated metal panel excellent in drawing squeeze moldability, the adhesion with the metal panel and impact resistance is obtained.
