PURPOSE:To prepare a retort-heated or boil-heated salad raw material free from stickiness and giving a delicious salad simply by pouring on raw vegetables, etc., in eating by using a conventional automatic filling apparatus in high uniformity and constant quantity at a high speed. CONSTITUTION:A salad raw material packed in a casing is prepared by sealing a salad raw material consisting of a mixture of a raw or heated proteinous salad raw material and a pasty seasoning in a vessel and subjecting the salad raw material in the sealed vessel to retort heating or boil heating. The raw or heated proteinous salad raw material preferably has a flaky form. The salad raw material packed in a casing can be produced by filling a prescribed amount of a mixture of a salad raw material and a pasty seasoning in a packaging film tube while sealing the edges of a packaging film to form the film in tubular form, tying the tube at unit length and retort-heating the product in an autoclave. |
