PURPOSE:To surely retain a propulsion unit in a desired rotational position and besides, facilitate the operation for this retention, in such a case that the propulsion unit is pivoted on a hull side capably of right and left rotation. CONSTITUTION:This steering controller is equipped with a steering bracket 12, which is pivoted rotatably through a steering shaft 11 longitudinal along the shaft 10 on a hull side 3, a propulsion unit, which is attached to the rotationally moving end of the rear of this steering bracket 12, and a steering handle 26, which is attached to the rotationally moving end of the front of the steering bracket 12. A friction plate 35, which extends around the steering shaft 11, is attached to either the hull 3 side or the steering bracket 12 side. A pad 49, which is frictionally joined to the friction plate 35, is attached to the other side. |
