PURPOSE:To obtain a preventing and therapeutic agent for gastritis and gastric and duodenal ulcer containing a substance having inhibiting actions on the proliferation of Helicobacter pyroli. CONSTITUTION:This preventing and therapeutic agent for gastritis and gastric and duodenal ulcer contains one or several kinds of galenicals selected from Capsicum, Citri Leiocarpae Exocarpium, Gentianae Scabrae Radix, Evodiae Fructus, Picrasmae Lignum, Graminei Rhizoma and Kaempferiae Rhizoma or one or plural ingredients selected from p-methoxycinnamic acid and ethyl cinnamate which are active ingredients contained in the Kaempferiae Rhizoma and ethyl p-methoxycinnamate. The galenicals are used by powdering the galenical raw materials or extracting them and providing extract essences. The daily dose thereof is 0.1-10g (in an amount expressed in terms of the raw galenicals) in the case of the extract essence, 0.01-5g in the case of dried powder and 10mg to 3g in the case of the active ingredients. |
