<p>PURPOSE:To provide a golf ball which has the good durability and is highly resistant to flawing particularly at the time of hitting with a short iron while maintaining the excellent repulsive performance and flying performance. CONSTITUTION:The golf ball is produced by using a mixture which is composed of an ionomer [I] and an ionomer [II] at [I]/[II] =98/2 to 60/40 (by weight) and has bending rigidity of 1,000 to 4,000kg/cm<2> as a base material resin of a cover. The ionomer [I] consists of an acrylic acid ionomer (A) or a mixture composed of the acrylic acid ionomer (A) and a methacrylic acid ionomer (B) and having 10 to 100wt.% content of the ionomer (A) and has the bending rigidity of 3000 to 5000kg/cm<2>. The ionomer [II] is an ionomer having the bending rigidity of 700 to 2,000kg/cm<2>.</p> |
