THREE-PIECES SOLID GOLF BALL

PURPOSE:To provide a solid golf ball having a long flying distance and good ball hitting feel. CONSTITUTION:This three-pieces solid golf ball is formed by coating a core 1 of a center 1a and an outside nucleus 1 with a cover 2. The metal salt of an alpha, beta-unsatd. carboxylic acid as a cross-linking agent is compounded by 13 to 28 pts.wt. into 100 pts.wt. base rubber for the center 1a. The metal salt of the alpha, beta-unsatd. carboxylic acid as the cross-linking agent is compounded by 28 to 35 pts.wt. into 100 pts.wt. base rubber for the outside nucleus 1b. The surface hardness of the core 1 is specified to 75 to 88 by a JIS-C type hardness meter and the compression deformation quantity of the core 1 is set at 2.7 to 5.0mm. The golf ball is thus composed.
