PURPOSE:To provide a time data receiver avoiding the wasteful power consumption due to receiving even data unnecessary for correction at every correction motion of a time counting circuit at a certain time interval. CONSTITUTION:The time data receiver is so constituted as to be controlled with a CPU 1, at every hour on the hour except 3 a.m. in the counted present time in a timer counter circuit 7, the wave reception motion of a receiver circuit 3 is shortened, a part of information of a time cord TC is obtained, the digit of minute of the timer counter circuit 7 is corrected, the wave reception motion of a receiver circuit 3 is performed for a sufficient time at 3 a.m. to take the whole information of the time cord TC and then, all the digit of the counted present time data in a timer counting circuit 7 are corrected. |
