<p>PURPOSE:To provide a water storage tank for operating a hydraulic cylinder of high reliability in the simple structure, where water can be automatically changed and the hydraulic cylinder can be securely operated even in the case of a water failure. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus comprises an inflow port 31 having a constant water level valve 10 and adapted to flow fresh water, a water supply port 16 to a hydraulic cylinder 1, a water return port 17 from the hydraulic cylinder 1, and an overflow port 14 for discharging water outside. The overflow port 14 is positioned above a water stopping level 12 of the constant water level valve 10 and under a water level 21 inside a reservoir tank 7, which is elevated in the case where there is no overflow when water staying inside the hydraulic cylinder 1 returns to the reservoir tank 7. The supply port 16 is located under a water level 13 inside the reservoir tank 7, lowered in the case where water does not flow through the water inflow port 31 when the water staying inside the reservoir tank 7 is fed to the hydraulic cylinder 1.</p> |
