PURPOSE:To provide a device for detecting power supply frequency of refrigerator which is constituted so that the device can detect the power supply frequency of a refrigerator by utilizing a motor which operates synchronously to the power supply frequency. CONSTITUTION:A damper device provided with an AC motor 23 which rotates synchronously to the power supply frequency of a refrigerator, gears 26 and 28, cams 27 and 29, and a pin 30 which convert the revolving motion of the motor 24 into reciprocating motions of the pin 30, a baffle plate 18 which is opened or closed by the reciprocating motions of the pin 30 and adjusts the flow rate of cold air supplied to the storage chamber of the refrigerator, a switching means 32 which detects a signal and detects the rotational positions of the cams 27 and 29 when the cams 27 and 29 move from certain states to other states, and an arm 31 which is provided so that the arm 31 can make reciprocating motions as the cams 27 and 29 rotate and turns on or off the switching means 32. The damper device is operated by at least one cycle by driving the motor 24 and the power supply frequency required to control the energizing time of the motor 24 is detected by measuring the duration of the cycle. |
