PURPOSE:To provide the method for detecting the position of an electronic part, which can detect the central position of the electronic part quickly and accurately. CONSTITUTION:A first corner part 2 and a second corner part 3 on diagonal lines passing the center of an electronic part are aquired as a first image G1 and a second image G2. First-fourth straight lines 5-8 passing the specified positions of many pins 4, which are juxtaposed at the corner parts, are obtained. The intersection of the first central line passing between the first and third straight lines and the second central line passing between the second and third straight lines is detected as the center of the electronic part. That is to say, the center of the electronic part can be obtained with the image inputs of two times. Therefore, the processing time of the detection of the central position of the electronic part can be made short. |
