PURPOSE: To set and remove sleeves serving as rubber blankets by forming a constitution in which the sleeves can be moved in the axial direction of a cylinder at least between the side walls of a printing mechanism when the sleeves are manipulated. CONSTITUTION: A jaw chuck constituted of two jaws 25 and 26 to be slid in the direction facing the arrow mark direction is provided on the plane of side walls 20 exposing a cylinder 22. Sleeves 24 can be moved through openings 23 of the side walls by moving the jaw chuck. A rail-type guide 27 extended in parallel with the axis of the cylinder 22 is formed between two side walls 20 and 21, and a guide member 28 moving toward the surface of the cylinder 22 and being brought into contact with the sleeves 24 is mounted on the guide 27. Mechanisms 27, 28, 29 and 30 for manipulating the sleeves 24 for accurately moving the positions of the sleeves 24 are incorporated into a protection bar protecting the fingers of a worker from printing clearances formed of two cylinders of two printing mechanisms facing each other. |
