PURPOSE:To provide a wall hanging type air conditioner which can be easily installed and maintained. CONSTITUTION:An opening 116 directed in a diagonally downward direction is provided, at rear plate 27 side, in bottom part of a case 4 and a terminal board 113 for connecting electric cables faces the opening 116. The terminal board 113, which is provided on the terminal board securing plate (inclined surface) of the power control box located in the vicinity of the rear plate 27 side of the bottom end of the case, is located at a same level as a bundle of pipes 118 provided at the rear plate 27 side of the bottom end of the case 4 so that electric cable connection and piping work are simultaneously performed. Installation and maintenance work is facilitated. Because the terminal board is oriented in the diagonally downward direction, connecting part can easily be seen during connection work in a wall hang state to realizing the easy cable connection. |
