PURPOSE: To provide a new device and method for extracting the gonad of sea urchin. CONSTITUTION: This device is composed of a conveyer provided for moving the sea urchin through a cutting place, a cutter attached to the conveyer, a cutting element of laser beam or band-shaped sawing blade consisting of the cutter, a line-up plane arranged for lining up and maintaining the direction of sea urchins on the conveyer, and a spring means provided for the extension load of conveyer toward the line-up plane. |
