PURPOSE:To facilitate splitting of a transmitted light and to transmit the light with high efficiency by disposing the end faces of light transmission bodies of a single core type and bundle type so as to face each other. CONSTITUTION:The light transmission body 1 is formed by connecting a light transmission tube 10 of the single core type and the light transmission body 20 of the bundle type via a joint 30 in the state of disposing one end face of the light transmission body 20 of the bundle type to face the light exit end face 11 of the light transmission tube 10 of the single core type and dividing the other end side of the light transmission body 20 of the bundle type, then connecting the end faces of the respective divided parts. 21, 21 by joints 31, 31 in the state of disposing the one end face of another light transmission tube 40 of the single core type opposite thereto.
