PURPOSE:To provide a device for automatically connecting a pair of accessory tile pieces with connection tape and for coating the adhesive surface of the tile piece with adhesive agent. CONSTITUTION:A pair of tile pieces 10 and 12 are placed on a tile piece mounting stand 26, which is transferred by a chain conveyor 24. The tile pieces 10 and 12 are so positioned by a positioning device 30 as to be kept in horizontal, biaxial directions, connection tape 18 is placed over the surfaces of the tile pieces 10 and 12 by a connection tape mounting device 36 and, by a first pressing device 38, the connection tape 18 is pressed against the surfaces of the tile pieces 10 and 12 for attachment thereto. A pair of tile pieces 10 and 12 are then turned over by a turnover device and are loaded upside down on the belt conveyor and, by a second pressing device, the connection tape 18 is pressed against the tile pieces 10 and 12 from below for attachment thereto. The adhesive surface of the tile 10 is thereafter coated with adhesive agent by an adhesive agent coating device. |
