AGGREGATE FOR HIGH-STRENGTH AND HIGH-FLUIDITY CONCRETE

PURPOSE:To produce a high-fluidity and high-strength concrete having a fluidity of >=450mm slump flow and >=900kgf/cm<2> strength at 28 days age in a concrete having <=0.3 water-cement ratio. CONSTITUTION:This aggregate for a high-strength and high-fluidity concrete has <=12mm maximum grain diameter and >=70vol.% solid volume percentage and preferably comprises 10-60wt.% coarse grains having 12-5mm grain diameter, 30-70wt.% intermediate grains having 5-1.2mm grain diameter and 10-40wt.% fine grains having <=1.2mm grain diameter. The aggregate is used in a concrete having <=0.3 water-cement ratio.
