<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the demolishing work period of a blast furnace by lifting up contents at the furnace bottom, inserting friction coefficient reducing materials below the contents and pulling out the contents at the furnace bottom in the integrated large block, as it is, from the opening part. CONSTITUTION:Cavities 9 are digged at plural positions above the surface of refractories at the furnace hearth of the blow-stopped blast furnace and at the surrounding part of the contents at the furnace bottom. A lift-up means 6 is arranged between the contents and the refractories at the furnace bottom in the cavity parts 9 and the friction coefficient reducing materials 7 are inserted into gap produced by lifting up. A wire 8 is fitted at a suitable position of the contents at the furnace bottom and the contents is horizontally pulled out in almost the integrated large block, as it is, from the opening part to the outside of the furnace. By this method, shooting work by blasting can become unnecessary.</p> |
