The invention relates to a sealable container for foods which give off liquid, for example for mussels or meat, provided with a reservoir which can hold liquid. The sealable container is characterized in that the reservoir is positioned on the bottom of the vessel as a separate element. The reservoir is preferably characterized in that it comprises a base with an upright rim and a film joined to the rim of the base, the film being provided with at least one opening.
