RESIN COMPOSITION OF CABLE INSULATION

The resin for reducing the crosslink time in silane crosslinking for insulation of electrical wires is composed of the mixture of 100 wt% basic polyethylene resin which has 0.92-0.95 of the density, 0.2-0.3 of melting index at 200 deg.C and 50 wt.% ethylene-propylene rubber or ethylene-propylene-diene rubber in which the amount of ethylene is more than 60 wt.% and their Mooney viscosity is 20-60 at 100 deg.C, 1-3 wt.% vinyl trialkoxysilane, 0.05-0.3 a radical initiator, 0.01-0.1 wt.% condensation catalyst and 0.1-2 wt.% an antioxidant.
