PURPOSE:To increase the degree of freedom in terms of the kind of an image shaking detecting means and the control form of an image shaking correcting means by providing a variable means for changing a conversion state by a conversion means in response to the characteristic of an image shaking preventing means. CONSTITUTION:This controller is provided with an angular displacement meter SA detecting camera shake angular displacement occurring in a camera CMR 1, and a microcomputer in a camera CCPU 1 controlling a series of exposing and film winding operation of the camera CMR 1 and calculating the camera shake angular displacement. The 2nd group L2 of a lens LNS 1 is an image shaking correcting lens, and supported to be driven in a two-dimensional dimensional direction on a plane perpendicular to an optical axis, and driven to be shifted by an actuator IACT 1. A DETD is a displacement detector for detecting the displacement amount dL of the shaking correcting lens. An ICPU 1 is a lens microcomputer for performing image shaking correcting control. The camera CMR1 outputs the camera shake angular displacement of the detected by the angular displacement meter SA to the lens LNS1, and the lens controls the displacement of the lens L2 according to the angular displacement, whereby image shaking on film FM is controlled.
