PURPOSE:To restrain the cooling capacity from sharply dropping when air conditioners in a room are shifted from a normal cooling operation to a dehumidifying operation, by setting up such a condition that the air conditioners are banned from performing the dehumidifying operation all at once. CONSTITUTION:An operating condition A is to prohibit an air conditioner from shifting from a normal operation to a dehumidifying operation and an operating condition B is to permit an air conditioner to shift from the normal operation to the dehumidifying operation. Those operation conditions A and B are respectively assigned to two or more air conditioners and the assignment is set up in a memory 19. A microcomputer 18 detects humidity inside a room through a humidity detector 16, takes out the upper limit value of humidity inside the room from the memory 19 and compares two values. When the humidity inside the room is a specified value or lower, both air conditioners given the operating conditions A and B perform the normal cooling operation. On the other hand, when the humidity inside the room exceeds the specified value, the air conditioners given the operating condition B perform the dehumidifying operation and the air conditioners given the operating condition A does not perform the dehumidifying operation but the normal cooling operation.
